AptaBLE shines at NeurIPS '24

AptaBLE at NeurIPS 2024

Our team presented AptaBLE: Aptamer Binding LanguagE at NeurIPS 2024 in Vancouver — featured at both the AI for New Drug Modalities workshop and the Machine Learning and Structural Biology workshop. The paper introduces a transformer-based model trained on proprietary protein-aptamer interaction data, enabling rapid generation, optimization, and counter-selection of aptamer candidates.

NeurIPS gave us the chance to put AptaBLE in front of the broader ML-for-biology community and to compare notes with other groups working on programmable nucleic-acid design. We came away with a stack of follow-up conversations and an even sharper sense of where the field is heading.
