Atombio at ICML '25
mRNAutilus at ICML 2025
We are excited to share that Atombio presented a paper at ICML 2025, held in Vancouver — one of the world's foremost machine learning conferences and, alongside ICLR and NeurIPS, a cornerstone venue for cutting-edge AI research in computational biology and beyond.
Our paper, Multi-Objective-Guided Generative Design of mRNA with Therapeutic Properties, introduces mRNAutilus — the first multi-objective guided generative model for simultaneous mRNA codon optimization and de novo UTR sequence design, combining a Masked Diffusion Model trained on 6 million mRNA sequences with Monte Carlo Tree Search to guide generation toward Pareto-optimal solutions across key therapeutic properties including stability, translation efficiency, and protein expression. This is a direct embodiment of Atombio' core mission: balancing competing molecular objectives in a single, unified design framework.
